What's ripe right now?

The honest answer: it changes weekly, and the farm posts picking conditions day-by-day on Facebook. In a typical July you'll find blueberries in the U-pick rows, sweet corn starting at the stand, and the last of the black raspberries.

  • U-pick strawberries, blueberries, blackberries & peaches in their seasons
  • Sweet corn, tomatoes and melons at the stand
  • Honey, maple syrup, eggs & pork year-round-ish

The Cedar Creek farm stand stacked with fresh summer produce

From the hives & the sugar shack

Randy keeps bees. And taps trees.

The honey on the shelf comes from hives you can see on the property's edge. The syrup — 85 to 100 gallons a year of it — comes from the farm's own maple and black walnut trees, tapped in late winter. Add hormone-free eggs and pork from their own chickens and hogs, and the pantry shelf tells the whole farm's story.

September & October

The Family Fun Zone

Come fall, the farm turns into the un-crowded alternative to the big festivals — corn maze and corn trail, a greenhouse maze, pumpkin patch, kids' activities, photo ops and apple cider slushies.

  • "Way less crowded than some of the other fall festivals around town"
  • "My kids didn't want to leave!"
  • Runs through October 31
